Jocelyn Pierre (31 years old) - Captain Profile : Consultant Construction Engineer Oil and gas offshore industry. President of the association “Un boutre nomme Nizwa” and member of Sail the World’s group.
In brief : Owner of Nizwa and project initiator. He has a detailed knowledge of the boat and the particular method of sailing with Lateen sails. He has experience in navigating in the Hormuz strait and in the Gulf Sea and skills in mechanic, electricity and wood working.
Language : English, Hindi, Arabic Simon Moriniere (48 years old) - Second Profile : Veterinary. Member of Sail The World’s group.
In brief : Significant navigational knowledge as he sailed 8 years with his family around the world including 6 month in the Red Sea. He has sailed many convoys and transatlantic trips. Beside navigation experiences, he has solid mechanical knowledge and has on-board medical survival training. Vincent Dusménil (33 years old) - Crew
 Profile : Film Director, general steward In brief: His background is as an information technology engineer, but discovered his passion for the world of images and pictures during is personal one year trip around the world. When back to France he decided to become reporter-journalist for French television. Discovering his production skills and the value of documentary films, he participates in many projects for TV.
He is passionate about the story of Nizwa and will be producing a documentary film recounting the adventure of the whole trip. Pascal Hennequin (30 years old) - Crew Profile : Engineer ESIM, DESS IAE Paris In brief: After working in information systems in the auto industry, he became a photographer and film producer. His first main project was in the equitable business. He then created his association in charge of producing documentary films on 21st Century environmental issues.
In addition to these activities, he has a good experience of sailing.
Juliette Vivier (28 years old) - Crew Profile : Graphic designer
In brief : she has a diploma from the French National School of Art Decoration.
She lived many years abroad, has good experience in sailing and followed training by the main sailing school in France (Les Glenans).
She will be in charge of the production and realization of the “Carnet de voyage” composed of her drawings and pictures. Hélène Dubois (31 years old) - Radio contact, logistics & security, media contact Profile : Human Resources manager – Treasurer of the association “Un boutre nomme Nizwa”
In brief : Jocelyn’s wife, she has participated in the project since Nizwa was purchased.
Thanks to her work and experience in event organization, she will be assisting the crew, act as intermediary for media coverage, and will coordinate all necessary action on land during the trip. Ronan Pierre (26 years old) - Webmaster Profile : IT project leader
In brief : He has created the website and will do all updates as the project grows. He will publish all the information and newsletters during the trip.
